EXTENDING THE LIFE OF YOUR JEWELRY
All of our jewelry at Niemeyer Studio is made from 14k gold vermeil or sterling silver, with some pieces also featuring platinum plating. These high-quality materials are selected to ensure your jewelry remains beautiful and durable for as long as possible.
To extend the longevity of your pieces, we recommend keeping them away from perfumes, lotions, and other chemicals that could potentially damage the metal or stones. Our pieces are carefully crafted with hand-set stones, so they should be treated with care to maintain their integrity.
Some of our pieces feature platinum plating over sterling silver. This plating enhances the durability of the jewelry, but it may eventually wear away. To avoid this, we advise against wearing your jewelry during sports, heavy physical activities, or any tasks that involve frequent use of your hands.
Moissanite, which we use for our engagement and luxury rings, is a durable and brilliant gemstone. However, like all precious stones, it should be cleaned regularly to maintain its sparkle. If your moissanite or cubic zirconia stones become cloudy due to a buildup of sweat or lotions, place the jewelry in lukewarm water with a drop of dish soap and gently brush it clean using a soft-bristle toothbrush.

We use Solid 14K Gold Vermeil for our jewelry. It has recycled 925 silver or stainless steel at its core and is plated in a thick layer of gold measuring 2.5-3.0 microns. This is 5 times thicker and longer-lasting than regular "gold-plated" jewelry, and 100 times thicker than flash-plated jewelry.

Alternatively, you can use these options: You can also find a ring at home that fits you well. To determine your size, download the "Ring Sizer" app by Jason Withers (available on Apple devices) and follow the instructions, or measure the inside diameter of the ring in millimetres using a ruler. Then, refer to the chart below to find the corresponding size. For example, an inside diameter of 16.6 mm corresponds to a size 6.
If you don’t have a ring, you can alternatively use a piece of string or ribbon to measure your finger.
